California PBL Programs

All information is taken from the California PBL wesite. Please visit the site for more state, as well as national, programs.

Chapter Achievement Program

Next Top Chapter

This statewide program recognizes chapters that take an active role in a selection of activities. The Next Top Chapter program is designed as a way to honor those chapters that dedicate time and effort in planning activities benefiting both members and the community. Activities are divided into three categories based on PBL's official crest: Service, Education, and Progress. A point system is used to tally the achievements of each chapter. Chapters that obtain more points are awarded greater state recognition.

iNetwork

PBL is growing by leaps and bounds and we want to extend a helping hand to our California FBLA siblings of 5,000 members strong.

Competition amongst high school organizations is becoming more intense and the old ways to recruit and fundraise have changed. PBL can provide a new prospective to FBLA chapters by sharing experiences, advice, and resources to improve each chapter’s program of work.

As an association, it is important for us to sustain our remarkable growth throughout the years. iNetwork serves as the gateway of development for California PBL, as we further bridge the gap between our two great divisions.

Individual Achievement Program

Fresh Start

The Fresh Start Program is an individual recognition program designed to give first-time PBL members a general knowledge of the organization, while engaging them in local, state, and national activities. Through this program, local chapters will promote membership retention and leadership development. Participants will achieve a basic knowledge and involvement of FBLA-PBL while contributing to their own personal growth.

Members may enroll ONLY if they have been a member for less than one calendar year.

Member of the Month

Awarded monthly to members who have made a significant, positive contribution to the development of California PBL.

Upon submission of the summary, the State Officer Team will:
01. Recognize each chapter's Member of the Month in the monthly email blast.
02. Recognize each chapter's Member of the Month at SFBLC, SBLC, or California Mtg @ NLC
03. Officially recognize each person each month on the homepage of the California PBL website, www.capbl.org by posting name, chapter and picture.
04. Each chapter's Member of the Month will also receive a recognition certificate mailed to each individual chapter
